About Us
The White Mountain Firefighters Association was founded in 2002 and is comprised of the Firefighters of Heber/Overgaard Fire District, Pinetop Fire District, Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District, Taylor-Snowflake Fire and Medical Department, and the Vernon Fire District. Our members are highly trained professionals ready to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to the citizens and visitors of the White Mountains.
The White Mountain Firefighters Association Local 4217 is a proud member of the International Association of Firefighters. As members of the IAFF, we’re more than just a local labor union; we’re a brotherhood and sisterhood that is dedicated our members and to the citizens and visitors of our White Mountain Communities.
The White Mountain Firefighters Association is committed to taking care of the men and women serving the citizens and visitors of the White Mountains and driving advancements in our fire and emergency services. We are fully invested in making sure our members have the tools, training, and resources they need to be at their best 24/7/365.
